Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. A half English mixed with Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. She is the daughter of an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. Her mother's ancestral lineage is Spanish as well as English. Taylor-Joy has four siblings from her father's prior marriage. Buenos Aires was her home until the age of six after which the family relocated to Victoria in London. Taylor Joy claims that her move to England was a very difficult experience. She refused to learn English and hoped she could move back to Argentina. Hill House, a school located in the same area as Northlands was required to take her. Later she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. At the age of 16, she dropped out of school to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to work as an actor. Her dream was granted a opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered the opportunity to model.
