Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles in the way he's known in the music world, is a British singing and composing. Harry Styles belongs to the group One Direction. His parents are Des Styles and Anne Cox. The couple were born on the 1st day of February, 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where as well as three of his classmates, he founded his own band, White Eskimo. After they won the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to a stellar performance, they also participated in the Battle of Bands 2010. Though he's been fascinated by music, he also interested in becoming an attorney or physical therapist. Part-time work in a city bakery is his very first job in order to provide for his family. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) at the 2010 auditions to The X Factor. The reason for this was that the group split. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles join the group that was to be dubbed One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group. They were first founded in the year 2010. During the competition the band performed songs like My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group became one of the candidates for the prize. But they finished 3rd place, in the third place, behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell didn't take home the prize. However, Cowell gave Harry Styles a 2 million dollar contract with Syco.
