Charli D'Amelio
Charli G. D'Amelio, (/d@mIlioU/d@-MIlee-oh d@-MIlee oh) was born in May of 2004. She was a competitive dancer for 10 years prior to starting her social media career in 2019 when she began uploading dance videos on video-sharing site TikTok. The platform quickly grew to have a huge following and subsequently became the top creator on the platform by March of 2020. She became surpassed by Khaby Lame at the end of summer 2022. D'Amelio made her feature film debut with a voice role in the animated film StarDog and TurboCat. In 2021, she appeared in the Hulu documentary series, The D'Amelio Show, and in the Snap Original reality show Charli vs. Dixie. The year 2022 was the first time D'Amelio took part as a famous contestant, and was able to take home the title together with Mark Ballas, in the thirty-one season of the dance contest series Dancing with the Stars. Her other ventures comprise two books, a podcast, the collection of nail polishes and a mattress. She also has a cosmetic line, clothing line and a multi-product enterprise. She was the first to gain between 50 million and 100 million users on TikTok. D'Amelio is the highest-earning TikTok female on the app in 2019, and also the most lucrative persona of the app by 2022, according to Forbes. She is often described as the TikTok's most popular star.
